CBS – Health Costing Experts CEO, Ross Wilson, attended the signing of the new trade agreement between New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the New Zealand Embassy in Dubai this week. The agreement was signed by the Honourable Todd McClay , New Zealand’s Minister for Trade, and his UAE counterpart Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr Thani Al Zeyoudi. Ross was also able to meet and talk with other distinguished guests such as the senior Healthcare Leader and friend to CBS, Dr. Khulood Alsayegh.
CBS is expanding our existing operations with healthcare costing operators in the Middle East and we're delighted with this news.
Once the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) is in force, it will be more efficient to export to the UAE - one of New Zealand’s most important trading partners in the Middle East.
Tariffs will be immediately eliminated on 98.5% of current New Zealand goods trade, and 99% after three years.
